Three of the guys at work graduated back in May and this is the card that I made each of them on behalf of the Company. As they were all graduating with engineering degrees I thought I’d use ‘violet – aka Elegant Eggplant’ as my base as this is the colour in their ‘hoods’.
I’d seen instructions ages ago on how to make the owl so set about creating an owl for each card. I had to improvise a small heart for the beak as I no longer have the 5-Petal punch. I was really pleased with the finished cards – and so too were the guys when they realised I’d made it especially for them 🙂
Supplies:
Stamp Set – Word Play (retired)
Card Stock – Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Basic Gray,Crushed Curry
Ink – Elegant Eggplant
Punches – Scallop Circle, Round Tab, 3/4″ Circle, 1/4 Circle, Modern Label, Small Heart
Other – Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon (retired), Black embroidery thread (non SU)
