Moonlight Faux Pinwheel

By | September 2, 2014

Hi there

As promised here is the second card the ladies made at last weeks class.  This card is a great one to make when you need to use up scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP).

This design takes eight squares that measure 1 1/4″.  The card stock background squares measure 2 5/8″ and you need two of these.  Here’s a close up of the pinwheel.

I added a brad base through the centre of the DSP and card squares then added a large rhinestone to the centre.  You could also add a candy dot to coordinate with your DSP.
I wrapped the ribbon around the card before adhering it all together then added the bow on top with a glue dot.
I forgot to take a photo of the inside which has the stamped sentiment.
Supplies:
Card Stock – Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White
DSP – Moonlight Paper Stack
Other – Blackberry Bliss Ribbon, Brad Base, Rhinestone, Honeycomb Embossing Folder
