Stamping411 Challenge

By | June 1, 2011

Hi there

Well after a lovely long weekend away (I’ll try and put some photo’s up soon) I’m back into my card making.

This card is for the challenge over at Stamping411.  I’ve made it a masculine theme as this month I have 3 male birthday cards to do.  Here is the sketch:

and here is my take:

I stamped the truck, cut it out and then stuck it on the Very Vanilla.  The parcels to the side have been raised with dimensionals.  I used Crystal Effects on the tyres for some depth.  I was lucky enough to win a prize from the last round of UStamp with Dawn and Friends and received a parcel with some lovely goodies – of which included some More Mustard ribbon!  Perfect for this project.

Supplies:
Stamp – Loads of Love, Loads of Accessories
Cardstock – Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Markers – Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Crumb Cake, River Rock, Baja Breeze, Basic Black
DSP – Neutrals Paper Pattern Stack
Other – More Mustard Ribbon, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Dimensionals, Crystal Effects

Have a great day
Paula

Love the masculine look of this card, great colors & the striped dsp looks like the road beneath the truck! Thanks for playing along this week 🙂
