Try Stampin Tuesday Challenge #6

By | March 17, 2011

Hi

I love these Try Stampin Tuesday challenges! http://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/  For this weeks challenge I used a stamp set that I haven’t inked up much – Simply Said and a colour that seems to get left behind – Riding Hood Red.  To give it a 3D effect I added pearls to the flowers.

Here is the sketch:

and here is my take:

and the inside
I also made a gift to go with the card – a tissue box cover – using the same supplies as the card plus the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/tissueboxcover/)
Supplies
Stamps: Simply Said, On Your Birthday
Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red, Whisper White
DSP:  Washington Apple (retired)
Markers:  Baja Breeze, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red
Ink:  So Saffron, Riding Hood Red, Black Stazon
Ribbon:  Riding Hood Red (retired)
Thanks for looking
Paula

Simple + stunning = WOW!! The simplicity of this card really highlights how you can produce a WOW card a lot of fuss & time. Great job Paula, thanks for joining us.

Hi, thank you for playing at Try Stampin'. Your card uses my favourite colours and I love it. I have been trying to think of a way to use that stamp and could never get the scale just right. You got it perfect.
