Happy Birthday to Me & Phil!
Well by the time you read this we will be in New Plymouth having a birthday holiday. As we share the same day – how cool is that! – every second year we go away for a short break to celebrate OUR birthday. I haven’t been to New Plymouth since 1975 so thought it was about time I went back. I’ll try and take some photos while we are away and post them next week.
I had to be sneaky in getting Phil’s card made without him seeing it. As we share the same hobbies room I had to wait until he went out to do some photography so I could have the room to myself!
I always struggle making masculine cards so here is what I made for him. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out.
I cut the large star out of Daffodil Delight and then added Crystal Effects to give it a nice glossy finish. I had tried to photograph the inside of the card but it wouldn’t stand up so I gave up! I had stamped the ‘stars’ for the set in Tangerine Tango.
