Hi there
This is the final card in my CASEing the Catalogue series. The sample on page 17 of the May-August Catalogue features the Bloom Boutique Suite.
I kept the layout the same as the sample but changed the colour combination and some of the textures. My colours are Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia and Garden Green.
For the background, I used the Perfectly Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, with the scalloped layers die cut from Berry Burst and Bubble Bath Two-Tone Cardstock. Instead of ribbon, I used the reverse side of Secrect Sea Two-Tone Cardstock.
I created different shades by double stamping some of the images for a darker colour. For the Fresh Freesia flower at the top, I double stamped the image and then used a Blender Pen to pick up ink from the ink pad to add extra colour to the lower part of the flower. A few Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems add the finishing touch.
