Today has been Father’s Day here in New Zealand and to celebrate we had a lovely family lunch together. Thanks Dad for your continued love, support and encouragement.
I’ve used the new set ‘A Good Man’ a number of times for masculine cards and today I was able to combine the image with two of the sentiments.
This card is called a ‘Flip Flap’ card – pull the tab on the right and the front flap opens.
The tab is attached to the back of the flap and as you pull the tab the flap opens.
The Crumb Cake mat has been dry embossed with the new Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder – I’m sure this folder will become a ‘go to’ one.
The image has been stamped in Memento Black then coloured in with our Stampin’ Blends. I’ve gone with Balmy Blue for the T-shirt, Soft Suede for the shorts, Night of Navy for the chair, Old Olive for the grass and Soft Suede/Crumb Cake for the hat.
The inside of the flap has been stamped in Night of Navy and Balmy Blue. The card base is Night of Navy and the flap is Balmy Blue. I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch – a great punch to have in your stash – to create the pull part of the tab.
This is a fun interactive card – keep an eye out as I have used this design for an upcoming Christmas card.
