Inlaid Embossing Technique

By | November 18, 2012

Hi there

I hope your weekend has gone well and that you have managed to squeeze in some crafting time.  I have but can’t show you my creations till later in the week 🙂

Last week my youngest nephew turned 14 – he may be the youngest but he’s on his way to being the tallest.  He’s already 6ft tall!  He’s really into rugby but I don’t have any rugby stamps so I used one of my favourite techniques – inlaid embossing – which is great for masculine cards.

I taught this card at a recent workshop.  It’s a great way to use up all the scraps we seem to accumulate and now that we have so many fabulous embossing folders no two look alike.
My nephew wanted money to go clothes shopping so I made a matching voucher holder.
Supplies:
Stamp – Made for You
Card Stock – Brights, Subtles and Night of Navy
Punches – a variety of circles
Other – Argyle Embossing Folder

Don’t forget to check back on Wednesday morning for the next sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday

Thank you – this is a lifesaver! I made 13 of these today and pinned one to pinterest as a direct copy of Blogger Paula Reid @ yellowbearnz.blogspot. Maybe it will bring you more followers 🙂
