Hi there
I’ve been a bit remiss of late with my blogging – I have such a backlog of projects to share so I’d better make a start.
This card is a case from the current catalogue (pg 58) I did for our neighbours son’s 2nd birthday.

Hi there
Do you like the new look of my blog? Thanks to Tia and her magic Yellowbear Stampin has a new look. Leave me a comment I’ve love to hear what you think. If you’d like your blog to have a make over contact Tia via the ‘blinkie’ on the left.
I’ve had a few people ask me how I got the name of Yellowbear Stampin so thought this was a good time to do a post.
About 12 years ago I was helping my sister out at a Mainly Music conference and this guy was selling these cute toys (bears and other animals) that could be used at a Mainly Music programme. The bear really appealed to me and I love yellow – it’s bright & cheerful so I bought one. He sits beside my bed along with his friend Blue Bear! When I needed to set up a gmail account I decided to go with yellowbear rather than my name and then when I got my blog it just seemed natural to carry on the theme. So that’s how Yellowbear Stampin began.
Have a great week.
Hi there
Hope you are having a great weekend. Yesterday I managed to do some crafting and these are some of the things I made.
At Convention last weekend Stampin Up! announced that we would be getting the Diagonal Score Plate (you may have seen it used on some of the Nth American blogs). This new plate will be available for purchase from 1 July – which isn’t that far away. As a demo we are able to order these new products early and mine arrived on Friday afternoon. Here are two things I made using this new plate.
The first is from Dawn Olchefske’s blog.
Supplies:
Stamp – Bring on the Cake
Card Stock – Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Ink – Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral
Other – Calypso Coral Ribbon, Crystal Effects, Dimenionals
I’ll be back later with some watercolouring I’ve done.

Hi there
I’ve had a great birthday weekend – thanks to those that have sent messages :). One of the gifts I got was Bordering on Romance so last night I was able to put ink to stamp and this is what I came up with.
Hi there
Well today is my husbands birthday and my birthday! I so love sharing the day with him. Last night I had to banish him from the office so that I could make his card. I really struggled to decide what sort of card to make for him. In the end I’ve gone with a fun one.
I thought this sentiment and stamp worked well together. We always laugh that Phil had to wait for me to grow up as he’s twelve years older than me.
Here’s the inside of the card:
Hi there
Here is a card I made the other night to go with these gifts for another colleague at work. I have seen heaps of cards using this accordian style flower and thought it was about time I tried one myself. I followed instructions from Heather Summers blog.
Hi there
Wow I can’t believe it’s so long since I posted. I have still been creating but just haven’t got round to posting my creations.
May is a very busy month for me birthday wise – here are some of the cards/gifts I’ve made for some of my work colleagues.
I’ve made my base out of card stock rather than square envelopes.
Supplies:
Stamp – On Your Birthday
Card Stock – Confetti White, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party
Ink – Soft Suede, Lucky Limeade
DSP – Everyday Enchantment (retired)
Other – Scallop Envelope Die, Scallop Circle Die, Blossom Party Die, Scallop Circle Punch, Everyday Enchantment Brads (retired), Pool Party Ribbon, Lucky Limeade Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals
Sorry for the length of this post – will try and get back tomorrow with another gift.
Have a great day
Paula
Hi there
What another fabulous day we’ve had here in Auckland – I am loving the sun.
Sorry – this is a long post as it combines all Mothers Day cards. This week at Crafters Anonymous we made the most amazing handbag which I’m giving to my MIL. Today I made a card to go with it.
Hi there
Just a quick post before I head off to work. Here is this weeks sketch:
I’ve kept mine a normal sized card rather than a square.
Hi there
Over the weekend I had to make two sympathy cards for people at work – they are not the easiest of cards to create but I was pleased with both of them. I needed one feminine & one masculine one.
Hi there
As promised here is the card I made for the colour challenge over at Stampin Fun & Friends.
Hi there
Crafters Anonymous is an online class and it’s so much fun. You never know what you will make. We are given a list of supplies and then follow instructions via a ‘chat’ session. This week Julia took the class and this is what we made:
The latest round of Stampin Fun and Friends has started. If you’d like to join click here to register. I’ll be back tomorrow with a card I’ve made for the colour challenge.

Hi there
As promised here are two masculine cards I made this week using the Well Worn DSP.
