I have now become part of the design team over at Try Stampin on Tuesday. I am very excited about this new opportunity. Each week a new sketch is posted and the challenge is on to recreate a card and upload it to the site. I have participated in the past and it’s lots of fun. So check here every Wednesday to see what the new sketch is.
This weeks sketch has a piggyback with it – incorporate something red on your card
and here’s my creation
I created this card for my friends MIL who had a birthday the other day. When I saw the piggyback was to include red I knew straight away I’d use the Glimmer Brad and then it all came together from there. I’ve used the new Woodgrain Embossing Folder for some texture at the bottom that also carries the stripped theme from the ribbon. And here is the inside of the card:
Supplies:
Stamp – Blooming with Kindness
Card Stock – Basic Black, Basic Gray, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink – Real Red
Other – Woodgrain Embossing Folder, 1/2″ Striped Satin Ribbon, Brights Glimmer Brad
