Baby Wipe Technique – Part One

By | August 9, 2016

Hi there

At last months card classes I taught the Baby Wipe Technique.  This technique has been around for some time but I’d never tried it prior to last month!  Thanks to Delys Cram for sharing her creation – you inspired me to give it a go and I LOVE this technique.  All you need is baby wipes, re-inkers and your chosen stamp set.

For my first class I used Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride, Bermuda Bay and Pool Party and this is what we created:

Baby Wipe Technique - Floral Phrases - July Card Class

This card uses the new Floral Phrases stamp set and the new Petal Burst Embossing Folder

Baby Wipe Technique - Watercolour Wings - Bermuda Bay - July Card Class

The ladies were able to choose what colour base and sentiment they wanted.  The base butterfly was stamped directly to the card front then we cut out the butterfly overlay and adhered it by placing adhesive just on the ‘body’ of the butterfly.

Baby Wipe Technique - Flower Shop - Bermuda Bay - July Card Class

I love the simplicity of the Flower Shop images.  I chose four of the six designs and went with a landscape and portrait option.

Love that we now have vertical greetings 🙂
Check back tomorrow for the cards created at my second card class.
