One Sheet Wonder Cards and Gift Box

By | November 25, 2012

Hi there

It has been a beautiful weekend here in Auckland – even got my first bit of sun.  Yesterday we attended the wedding of my upline Jacque.  It was such a lovely wedding and she just looked gorgeous.  Congratulations Rob and Jacque.

I found this project on Elaine Schader’s blog awhile ago and just loved it so I recreated it with a few changes to fit out A5 cards and slightly bigger envelopes.  It uses a one sheet wonder technique to make the cards and decorate the front of the box.  The box holds 4 cards and the envelopes.

First of all I stamped an A4 sheet of Whisper White card then cut it up into 6 different sizes.  I’ve used the smallest stamp as an embellishment on some of the cards and the front of the box.  The colour combo is straight from the colour coach using Summer Starfruit as the base.
Here are close ups of the cards:

Supplies:
Stamp – Lacy and Lovely, Made for You
Card Stock – Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant, Summer Starfruit
Ink – Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant, Summer Starfruit
Other – Large Oval, Scallop Oval, 1″ Circle, 1 1/4″ Scallop Circle, Word Window and Modern Label Punches, Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon, Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon, 1/8″ Mini Brads, Dimensionals

Check back tomorrow for a masculine set using the same technique.

Have a great evening
