Simply Scored Diagonal Plate

By | June 10, 2012

Hi there

Hope you are having a great weekend.  Yesterday I managed to do some crafting and these are some of the things I made.

At Convention last weekend Stampin Up! announced that we would be getting the Diagonal Score Plate (you may have seen it used on some of the Nth American blogs).  This new plate will be available for purchase from 1 July – which isn’t that far away.  As a demo we are able to order these new products early and mine arrived on Friday afternoon.  Here are two things I made using this new plate.

The first is from Dawn Olchefske’s blog.

I’ve made these before but this way is SO much easier.  It uses a square piece of DSP and the Diagonal Scoring Plate – no adhesive is used.
Supplies:
DSP – Spice Cake (retired)
Other – Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Diagonal Scoring Plate, Small Oval Punch, Pool Party Ribbon
My second creation is from Frenchie Stamps.  I had fun making this card.
And here’s a close up of the scoring

Supplies:
Stamp – On Your Birthday
Card Stock – Pool Party, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Poppy Parade
DSP – Everyday Enchantment (Retired)
Other – Simply Scored Scoring Tool, Diagonal Plate, Petite Pennants, Cupcake Builder, Large Oval, Scallop Oval Punches, Punch Windows Die
This afternoon I have my first workshop – with about 13 attendees!  Here are the little place setting gifts I made.  (Sorry Julia no chocolate today)
Well I’d better sign off and pack up all the bits I need for the project we’re going to make.
Catch you back soon.
Paula

The ice cream card looks great with the use of the diagonal score plate. Looking forward to getting one myself.
