Takeout Treat Christmas Card and Box

By | December 23, 2018

Hi there

I’ve loved using the Takeout Treat Thinlits over the last 5 months.  It’s such a cute box and is the perfect treat size.  Today’s project is one I CASED from our team training back in August – check out the original design here.

I used this as one of my projects for a workshop – I gave the ladies two colour options: Fresh Fig/Lemon Lime Twist or Night of Navy/Pool Party.

Here’s a close up of the cards:

I used the Very Vanilla Notecards & Envelopes as I wanted to use the Very Vanilla Gold Metallic Edged Satin Ribbon for my bow.  We used the Corrugated Embossing Folder and then spritzed it with the Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint.  When you use the Corrugated Embossing Folder remember to cut your card stock a bit wider than you want your finished width.  For this project my Lemon Lime Twist measures 3 1/4″ x 3 5/8″ while the Fresh Fig measures 3 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.

The sentiment is from the Takeout Treats stamp set and is stamped in Memento Black then die cut with one of the frames from the Takeout Treat Thinlits.  The sprigs have been punched out of Tranquil Tide or Old Olive card stock with the new Sprig Punch.  With our huge range of Stampin’ Blends colours you can have coloured rhinestones in almost any shade.  Here I’ve used the Bronze or Real Red blends.

I have two more Christmas cards to share with you tomorrow featuring the So Santa stamp set.

Until then …
